Collins: I was caught off guard and pleased at the request. Just glad the interest was there and happy to share the story of my experience.

Facebook, The Internet Ruining The Joy, Dread Of Actual Reunions

Reunion traditionalists claim that the experience of a physical reunion can’t be recreated on Facebook. Anti-reunionists claim that the reunion of the future reduces an individuals carbon footprint significantly.

Chicago—This typically is the time of year when people are attending their high school reunion, but thanks to Facebook and other social networking sites, many companies that would be busy now helping plan and put on reunions are seeing a decidedly downward turn in business.

“Facebook is to the high school reunion business what Walmart is to mom and pop stores,” said Maggie Tabet, owner and founder of Reunite Us, the nation’s third-largest reunion organization company. “They’re insidious. Insidious. I can only imagine that Mark Zuckerberg and his gang have no interest in going to their high school reunions, but if they did, we can help organize them. Those jerks.”

Artist, Mustache Icon LeRoy Neiman Dies At 91

New York—Famed “sports” artist LeRoy Neiman died at New York-Presbyterian Hospital Wednesday night, taking his talent and his magnificent mustache with him. He was 91.

He served in the Army during WWII, fighting in both the Normandy invasion and the Battle of the Bulge. He then attended Chicago’s School of the Art Institute on the GI Bill, before becoming an instructor at the school. He taught there for ten years before gaining fame after selling some of his work to some unknown magazine called Playboy in the 1950s.

Al Gore Spotted Pumping Gas

Before anyone makes any snap judgments we feel it is important to remind everyone that it isn’t, currently, illegal to purchase gasoline.

Washington, D.C. – Former Presidential candidate Al Gore was spotted at a neighborhood BP this morning pumping premium gas into his 2013 Beemer 5 series, a cinnamon crueller in his front pocket.

Gore seemed surprised when he spotted our camera, and quickly pulled the crueller out of his pocket and dumped it into the front seat of the luxury German vehicle.

“We need to move on from these gasoline-consuming vehicles!,” Gore shouted, attempting to laugh off the embarrassing situation.  “This is actually my wife’s car!”
